1999 Men's European Powerlifting Championships Invitation
Sanctioned by European Powerlifting Federation, the Polish Powerlifting
Federation invites the EPF Member Nations to compete in the 1999 Men's
European Powerlifting Championships.
- Organiser: Polish Powerlifting Federation.

- Host City: Pultusk, Poland - 75km from Warsaw Airport.
- Date: 12th to 16th of May 1999.
- Venue: Sporthal Pultusk.
- Hotel: Baltasar Hotel and Naskarpie Hotel.
- Hotel Rates: Single room - 90DM per person/night.
Double Room - 70DM per person/night. Triple room - 60DM per
person/night. All rates include breakfast. Teams are required
to pay for the accomodation upon arrival at the hotel. The
organizer will not pay for any of the participating nations
Hotel Bills - the respective Team Managers are responsible.
- Hotel Booking: By fax using the nomination form, to
reach the Meet Director by 25th April at the latest.
- Congress: 1900 hrs Wednesday 12th of May. The Technical
Meeting will follow at the conclusion of the Congress.
- Arrivals: Warsaw Airport, 75km from Pultusk. Bus
transfer to Pultusk 20DM per person for groups of 4 to 40 people.
If there are less than 4 people the transfer will be very
expensive.
- Scales and Sauna: Scales at venue, sauna at Sporcenter
Pultusk.
- Flags, Anthems and Photographs: Each team must bring its own
national flag and anthem. For identification and security reasons, each
each lifter and official must provide a photograph.
- Referee Clinic: Cancelled due to lack of IPF funding.
- Closing Banquet: 2000hrs, Sunday 16th May 1999. Free for
lifters and officials. Additional tickets 20DM.
- Doping Control Fee: 45DM for each entered
lifter, payable in DM at the Technical Meeting.
- Provisonal Timetable: Please note that changes of the
timetable are possible depending on the number of nominations for each
class at the Technical Meeting. Victory ceremonies will be held after
each part of the competition.
Opening Ceremony: 1000hrs, Thursday 13th May 1999 - 1 lifter and 1 official.
