The 1999 European Juniors was one of the biggest Junior Championships ever held.
Albert Krol and the Polish Federation should be congratulated on their organisation
of the event, which was not an easy matter. Thanks should also be given to the
sponsors, the loaders and all who helped make the Championships a success.

- Recently, Ukrainian and South African athletes lifted in a competition organised by
the USPF. IPF suspended lifters took part in the competition and it should be noted
that anyone who competes against IPF suspended lifters risks suspension themselves.
- Georgia and Spain have yet to pay the 475DM EPF Membership Fee for 1999. Failure to
pay by 1st July 1999 will results in suspension.
