1. IOC Recognition

Following a long pause in the pursuit of IOC recognition, the IPF has now started a new initiative. However, it appears that the IPF is not receiving the full support of the EPF member federations. Mike Armstrong sent out a questionnaire last year, and only nine federations answered. The following EPF members must complete the IOC recognition form and return it to me by the end of March at the latest:

Austria, Belgium, Belarus, Croatia, Bulgaria, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Georgia, Poland, Portugal, Russia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Ukraine, Yugoslavia.

3. 2000 European Masters Bench Press Championships Invitation

Note that the Championships is being held from 27th to 30th of July 2000, which is one week earlier than was originally planned.

2000 EPF Membership Fees. The following Nations have yet to pay: HUN, POL, YUG, LIT, EST, BUL, UKR, GEO. The fee is now 430DM, and each month overdue incurs an additional 15DM.
Address Change for the 2000 Men's European Powerlifting Championships. Mailed nominations should be sent to FGV Riesa, Pausitzer Strasse 60, 01589 Riesa, Germany.
Members should note that the Bench Press competition begin promoted by Mr Ponnier is NOT sanctioned by either the EPF or the IPF.
