1997 European Junior Championships

The European Juniors in Pultusk, Poland was an exeptionally good championships.almost perfectly organised by Lech Krasa and his team. A lot of records were set in the competition, providing testimony to the quality of lifting. The number of participants at the championships was also a new record. The success of the European Juniors indicates that the Polish Federation is now capable of organising both the Men's Open Europeans and the World Championships. The EPF would like to thank not only to the Meet Director but also to the officials of the Town of Pultusk, who did a lot support to the Organisers. In addition, the loaders deserve a special mention as they were exceptionally good.
